Syd just mentioned being in a trippy show. This might be a trip to see:

And just so I won't take up more space, today in music history:

1961 - The Beatles made their debut in an appearance at Liverpool’s Cavern Club, where they became regulars in a matter of months.

And a birthday (this guy was a keyboard animal!)
1685 - Johann Sebastian Bach
composer: Gottes Zeit, Toccata and Fugue in d minor, Little Organ Book, Mass in B Minor, Magnificat; died July 28, 1750

I remember catch J.S. Bach at the Ye Olde Fillmore back in the day. He performed some solo stuff that blew us away--and the Big Band came out. He should have replaced Pig on keys!

Except he was just a little too structured in his approach.

Now, as far his bastard son, P.D.Q. Bach, is concerned, that's a horse of a different hue.

Kind of Zak Starr, Julian Lennon, Dweezil Zappa, and the rest of the offspring?

Kind of, but certainly not like The Offspring. That band just scares me.

Yeah. They were born on drugs.
